Wonderful Wednesday is an exciting, well-supervised program for children ages 4 through 6th grade.  Offered in a vacation Bible school - like format, Wonderful Wednesday offers children a chance to sing, dance, play, perform and learn about God's word, the Bible.  Crafts and snacks are usually a part of the plan for each week, as are monthly presentations by students in our regular Sunday morning worship services.  At present, more than 20 children per week participate in this popular program offered to the whole community at no charge.

Blaze activities have included a trip to Lagoon in Farmington, Utah, movies, and joint activities with other churches in the area.  Mission activities and other trips and projects are also planned in a program that both nurtures and challenges growing young men and women.

Age-Based Ministries

One kind of ministry at GRUMC is based on the age or life-stage of the person being served.  This kind of ministry is especially appropriate for children and youth.  It is important to know, though, that children and youth also participate in many of the all-church opportunities available.  In fact, we are very pleased to include both children and youth in other activities, giving them an opportunity to learn, grow and serve hand-in-hand with people of all ages.
